How to wash a hip carrier in the washing machine or by hand:
First, remove the insert. Place the hip carrier in a zippered laundry bag. This protects the fabric, the buckles, and the washing machine.

Select a gentle or delicate cycle at 30 degrees. Avoid high spin speeds (max 600 rpm) to prevent damage to seams or reinforced areas.

Mild detergent
Use amild detergent—preferably one without bleach or enzymes, which can wear down the fabric and affect the carrier’s durability. Avoid fabric softener, as it can weaken elastic or padded parts.

Let it air dry
Let the hip carrier air dry—preferably laid flat or hung over a drying rack.

Refresh between washes
If the carrier isn’t dirty but just needs freshening up: wipe it down with a damp cloth. Perfect for removing stains or dust without unnecessarily wearing down the material.
